"Elizabeth II Dei Gratia Regina", beginning above portrait and continuing in a complete circle. Cecil Thomas crowned effigy, as used contemporaneously with the better-known Gillick effigy, on Commonwealth coins only. 28.28 grams, 925 fine silver (the standard of 1816), reeded edge.
