2007 Canada $20 Proof Sterling Silver Coin - Blue Crystal Snowflake
This sterling silver coin contains 92.5% silver and 7.5% copper and has a face value of $20 Canadian. It weighs 50.1 grams and measures 38 millimetres across its diameter. Royal Canadian Mint Engraver Konrad Wachelko has re-created a six-sided dendrite ice crystal, often referred to by many as a snowflake. It is one of two coins available "made with Crystallized Swarovski Elements"overlaying the 'snowflake' with either six aquamarine or six iridescent crystals and one central clear crystal. The obverse features the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Susanna Blunt.
